From an early age, Dr. Wei-Wei Han felt called to the healing arts. She completed nine years of post-secondary education, beginning with an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto and culminating in graduate training at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. She graduated in 2000, receiving the Best Achievement Award in Acupuncture and earning recognition as one of the most sought-after interns of her class.
Deeply committed to lifelong learning, Dr. Han continually expands her clinical expertise. She completed over 1,000 hours of apprenticeship training in China with three renowned doctors of Traditional Chinese Medicine and dedicates 100 hours each year to advanced clinical seminars across a wide range of healing modalities. Her advanced training includes advanced acupuncture, Bowen Therapy and Neuro-Structural Integration (NST), visceral manipulation and listening, Live blood analysis, auricular chromotherapy, Psych-K, and over a decade of study in classical homeopathy with world-renowned teachers.
Dr. Han often describes herself as a “detective of human suffering.” She believes that symptoms and illness do not arise without cause, but from a convergence of factors that overwhelm the body’s ability to adapt and heal. Her role is to investigate these underlying contributors and identify what is blocking recovery. While symptom relief is important, her deeper goal is to empower patients with a clear understanding of their bodies so they can make informed, sustainable health decisions. She also incorporates tools that address subconscious patterns that may interfere with healing.
New patients typically spend up to two hours with Dr. Han, allowing ample time to explore their health history and uncover the root causes of imbalance. She practices truly individualized medicine, treating the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—while recognizing their inseparable connection. Her approach is attentive and hands-on; she listens carefully, observes closely, and uses refined palpation skills—developed through extensive training in visceral manipulation—to understand each patient’s unique physiology.
As a mother of two young adults, Dr. Han has a deep passion for pediatric health. She brings over 26 years of clinical experience and has treated thousands of patients across all stages of life. Her clinical focus includes digestive and autoimmune disorders, chronic fatigue, thyroid conditions, anxiety and depression, chronic pain, TMJ and musculoskeletal disorders, asthma, allergies, histamine intolerance, mast cell activation syndrome, infertility, hormonal imbalances, Lyme disease, and associated co-infections. She has been a member of the International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society (ILADS) for over a decade.
Dr. Han tailors her approach to each individual, always seeking the root of suffering rather than simply managing symptoms. She defines health not merely as the absence of disease, but as the ability to fully realize one’s potential. To her, healing is a dynamic process that blends science, clinical artistry, and daily practice. At the heart of her work is a belief that effective medicine empowers patients—an ethos that guides every aspect of her care.
